What we collect
Element One Flooring Pty Ltd collects the personal information reasonably necessary to quote, perform and stand behind its work: names and contact details; property addresses and access details; details of the work requested and performed, including the coating systems applied; photographs of the work; quote, invoice and payment records; and the details of enquiries submitted through our website, by email or by telephone. We do not collect information beyond what the work and our dealings with you require.
Why we collect it
We use this information to respond to enquiries and prepare quotes; to schedule, perform and warrant the work; to invoice and receive payment; to provide aftercare guidance specific to the coating system applied to your floor; and to contact past clients about maintenance appropriate to their floor, such as a recoat inspection in later years. We do not use your information for any purpose unrelated to our services, and we do not send marketing material to people who have not dealt with us.
How it is held
Your information is held in the company's business systems: our job management system, our accounting system and our email service. Each provider maintains its own security controls, and access is limited to the people who operate the business. Records are retained for the periods required by tax, warranty and other laws, and are not kept longer than needed. Some of these providers store or access information outside Australia, under their own security and privacy controls.
Who sees it
Contractors engaged to perform your work receive only the information the job requires: your name, the property address, access arrangements and the scope of work. Beyond the service providers named above, we do not sell, rent or share your personal information with any third party, except where the law requires disclosure or you have asked us to share it.
Photography
We photograph completed floors for our records and, with your consent, for our portfolio, website and social media. We will always ask before any image of your home is published. Published images are never accompanied by your name or address unless you have expressly agreed to a named attribution. You may withdraw consent for future use at any time by contacting us, and we will remove the images from our active channels.
Access and correction
You may ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything inaccurate or out of date. Requests can be made by email to info@elementoneflooring.com.au or by telephone on 1300 909 998, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Enquiries submitted through the contact form at elementoneflooring.com.au are received by email and handled under this policy. Our website uses cookies and standard analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive; this data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can disable cookies in your browser settings and the website will remain usable. Our website may link to external sites, such as our social media profiles, whose privacy practices are their own.
